Ranbir Kapoor On PM Modi's 'Magnetic Charm': 'That Kind of Effort, You See...'

In a recent podcast with Nikhil Kamath, Ranbir Kapoor shared his thoughts on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Revealing his admiration for PM Modi, Ranbir recalled a memorable meeting that took place 4 to 5 years ago. He described Modi as having a "magnetic charm" and noted his impressive oratory skills. He said, 'I don’t think much about politics. But all of us – actors and directors – went to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi 4 to 5 years back. You see him on television, you see how he talks – he’s a great orator. I remember the moment we were sitting and he walked in. There is a magnetic charm about himself. He came and he sat down.' Ranbir elaborated on how Modi personally engaged with each attendee during the meeting, including asking about Ranbir’s father’s medical treatment. He compared Modi’s personal touch to that of other 'Great men' like Shah Rukh Khan. Ranbir added, 'PM Modi spoke to each and every person about something so personal. My father was going to treatment at that time, so he asked me how’s the treatment going, what’s happening and all of that. He talked to Alia about something else, Vicky Kaushal about something else, Karan Johar about something and so on. Everything was very personal. That kind of effort, you see in great men. They put that kind of effort- they don’t need to, but they do. Like Shah Rukh Khan. There are many such great men. It says a lot about them.' Ranbir praised Modi’s ability to connect personally and acknowledged his exceptional qualities. Ranbir will next be seen in Nitesh Tiwari's "Ramayana" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Love & War."
