Delhi Police arrests Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Javed Mattoo

The Delhi Police Special Cell apprehended Javed Mattoo, a wanted terrorist linked to Hizbul Mujahideen, in the national capital on Thursday. Mattoo was captured during a search operation led by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). Police recovered a pistol, magazine, and a stolen vehicle from Mattoo. A resident of Jammu and Kashmir's Sopore district, he was involved in five grenade attacks and implicated in the killing of five police personnel in the union territory. Mattoo is identified as one of the last surviving A++ designated terrorists from Jammu and Kashmir, according to the police.
