HP: Traffic jam affects tourists’ Christmas celebrations in Kullu

The major winter tourism destination in Himachal Pradesh, Kullu, is choked with the rush of vehicles as thousands have rushed to the area hoping for a White Christmas. Hundreds of vehicles were stranded in a traffic jam in Kullu on December 25 as tourists in large numbers thronged to the hill station. Atal Tunnel, a famous destination in Rohtang also witnessed traffic jam. Notably, Himachal Pradesh has been witnessing footfall as tourists from the neighbouring states are visiting the state to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
