Ayodhya recently made history by setting a new Guinness World Record during its Deepotsav festival, where over 2.2 million earthen lamps illuminated the night in celebration of Diwali. This annual festival has been a tradition in Ayodhya for the past seven years, and each year it has broken its own records by lighting lakhs of diyas, creating a breathtaking spectacle. The incredible display of lights was made possible with the participation of approximately 25,000 dedicated volunteers. A team from the Guinness Book of World Records was present in Ayodhya to witness and verify this remarkable achievement.
