A woman passenger who was unhappy over strict pre-boarding security check, made a stray 'bomb' remark at Varanasi airport ahead of boarding her Akasa Air flight to Mumbai. This led to a security scare and the CISF was alerted after which the protocol to deal with such situations was triggered. This meant that all passengers had to alight and the plane along with passengers' check-in baggage was checked again. This delayed the flight by several hours.
