Caught on cam: Purse snatchers push elderly woman and daughter-in-law off scooter in Ludhiana, Punjab

An elderly woman and her daughter-in-law were injured when unidentified individuals pushed them and snatched their purse while they were riding a scooter in Sihala village near Samrala on Monday. The elderly woman, identified as Daljit Kaur, and her daughter-in-law, Manveer Kaur, had gone to Samrala market to buy household goods and later stopped at a pizza shop. They noticed that individuals with their faces covered were following them after leaving the shop between 2 and 2.30 pm.While on the road near a bank, unidentified motorcycle-borne individuals kicked their scooter, causing it to fall. As a result, both Daljit Kaur and her daughter-in-law sustained injuries. The daughter-in-law attempted to chase the suspects, but they managed to escape with their purse, which contained Rs.7,000, two gold rings, bank cards, a passport, and other important documents. The suspects remain at large.
