Gujarat: Two labourers sustain burn injuries after furnace blast at factory in Jamnagar

Two labourers sustained burn injuries following a furnace explosion at a brass factory located in the Dared GIDC area of Jamnagar, Gujarat. Shubh Layak (30) and Hukam Singh (26) are the identified victims, and they were promptly taken to G G hospital, with one of them currently in critical condition. The explosion occurred within the premises of Rajhans Impex private limited, as confirmed by the police. However, the precise cause of the blast remains under investigation. Eyewitnesses reported hearing an explosion, which was immediately followed by a sudden outbreak of fire within the factory. This unexpected event prompted the workers to swiftly flee in a bid to ensure their safety. Manoj Joshi, the company's manager, remarked, "It was an accident, we had our own firefighter start to douse the fire before the fire brigade reached here."
