On the death anniversary of Phoolan Devi on July 25, Nishad Party President and Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sanjay Kumar Nishad demanded a CBI enquiry into Phoolan Devi murder case.“Our party and all our workers will demand through a memorandum that a CBI inquiry should be conducted in the Phoolan Devi murder case and secondly, the land which is under the control of a Samajwadi leader in Mirzapur should be given back to her mother and with this, her mother should be given the respect of the MP's mother,” said Sanjay Kumar Nishad.
