Special train from Balasore will arrive in Vishakhapatnam soon: Waltair Railway Division Manager

Waltair Railway Division Manager Anup Kumar Satpathy on June 03 said that the railway has identified 178 people from Andhra Pradesh so far, who were travelling in the Coromandel Express. He also said that the special train carrying passengers will reach Visakhapatnam soon.“From Andhra Pradesh, about 178 people have been identified so far, and 110 are from Visakhapatnam area itself. Rescue operations are going on in full swing from the time of the accident itself. Senior officers of Railways are there at the accident site. General Managers of both the zone and NDRF of both the adjacent divisions are there. We are also leading a team from Waltair,” said Anup Kumar Satpathy, Manager, Waltair Railway Division.The special train carrying passengers will reach Visakhapatnam soon. All help will be provided to any people who are affected. We have set up information centres at all major stations. Our control office is also active.
