People started travelling more after implementation of Shakti Yojana: Karnataka Transport Minister

Karnataka Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy on June 30 said that the number of women travelling in the buses have increased after the implementation of ‘Shakti Yojana’ in the state. “Every day so many women are travelling by bus. The Government of Karnataka will reimburse everything and no corporation will be harmed by ‘Shakti Yojana’. With the Shakti Yojana, 30-35 lakh people have started travelling more. There is a little problem only this month but from next month, the government will reimburse on time,” said Minister Ramalinga Reddy.
