SAD to attend inauguration event of new Parliament building

Shiromani Akali Dal on May 24 decided against the Opposition parties’ boycott of the inauguration event of the new Parliament building. SAD leader Daljit S Cheema announced that they will attend the function. “The inauguration of the new Parliament building is a matter of pride for the country, so we have decided that the SAD will attend the inauguration ceremony on May 28. We do not agree with the issues raised by Opposition parties,” said Daljit S Cheema on May 24. Congress and 18 other Opposition parties have decided to boycott the inauguration of the new Parliament Building.
