Kulgam: Muslims and Hindu perform last rites of a CISF constable together

The last rites of Balbir Singh a head constable with the CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) were performed by Hindus and Muslims together in Kashimr's Kulgam on Friday. Balbir Singh died of a heart attack. Local residents said that harmonious relations and brotherhood between Hindus and Muslims still exists in Kashmir. People from both the communities took part in the rituals setting an example of communal harmony. Officers from the CISF paid tribute to their departed colleague and bid him farewell.
