Timely implementation of budget announcements should be done: CM Gehlot

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given clear instructions to all the top officials of the state that budget announcements should be implemented in a timely and effective manner. He said that out of 2,722 announcements made in the last four budgets, approval has been issued for more than 95 percent of the announcements. While the implementation of 87 percent announcements is complete and in progress, the state government is committed to take its public welfare schemes to the last person. The Chief Minister also said that officers and employees play an important role in the successful implementation of budget announcements. The officers and employees of the state have done a commendable job in putting the public welfare schemes on the ground. He said that it is the result of the commitment of the personnel that most of the previous budget announcements have been successfully implemented. He has clearly told the officers that this time also work should be done fast to make the announcements accessible to the general public.
