Budget 2023: Focus on employment-intensive projects

Union Budget 2023: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman needs to focus on allocating capital expenditure to those projects that are near completion because it can kick in the externalities of those projects quickly. Focus on projects where the absorption and job intensity would be higher, says Ranen Banerjee, Partner and Leader - Economic Advisory Services, PwC India.
