Punjabi dal tadka
This punjabi recepie is really simple to microwave from the best of ingredients.
Ingredients:
One cup split black (Urad ki dal)
One chopped onion
One small piece chopped ginger
Three or four garlic flakes
2-3 Green chili
One tbs ghee
One tbs cumin seeds (Jeera)
1/2Coriander powder
1/4 Garam masala pd
1/2 Turmeric pd
One tb lemon juice
2Cup water
Salt As taste
Black peper as taste
Red chili as taste
Method
Wash and soak dal for ten minutes, water drain the water
In microwave safe add ghee and all the spices and microwavw for microwave for two minutes at 100% water
Add chopped onion , ginger, garlic, chillies, and microwave for three ,four minutes at 100% Power
Add soaked dal and two cup water to it, microwave covered for 10-12 minutes at 100% Power and then at 60% power for 8-10 minutes , stir in between
Allow to stand for 5 Minutes , garnish with gren coriander and lemon juice , serve with hot roti, nan, pratha.
