Shahi Chicken Biryani
This authentic combination of rice and chicken with aromatic spices to excite your taste buds. Perfect for your family lunch.
Ingredients :-
Basmati Rice - 2 Cup ( Soaked by 1/2 hr.)
Oil - 3 Tablespoon
Onion - 1 Cup sliced cutter
Dry spices -
Cloves - 5 ,
Black pepper - 5 To 6
Black cardamoms - 5
Cinnamon sticks - 2
Green chillies - 3 To 4
Jeera - 1 little tablespoon
Salt - As per taste
Turmeric - 1 Tablespoon
Bay leaves - 2 To 4
Garam masala 1 Tablespoon
Coriander powder - 1 Tablespoon
Marinade :-
Chicken - 500 Gm.
Curd - 2 Cups thick
Lemon juice - 2 Tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste - 2 Tablespoon
Redchilli paste - 1 Table spoon
Howbto make :-
1. In a microwave safe bowl add oil, sliced onions and all dry spices and microwave at 100% Power for 5 Minutes.
2. Marinate the chicken pieces in the above marinade for 1 Hr. in the refrigerator .
3. Add this marinated chicken in the cooked onion spice mixture . Mix well and microwave covered on 100% Power for 5 to 6 Minutes .
4. Now add soaked rice to it. 3 Cups of water and microwavevcoveted at 80% Power for 12 - 15 Min. Stir in between . Standing time of 5 To 6 Minutes. is given.
5. Garnish with chopped mint and coriander leaves .
Serve wirh raita and chutney.
